Aims

The main aims of Pirates Without Borders, as stated on the foundation bylaws, are:

• Building and strengthening cross border cooperation for the promotion of free people, free knowledge, free culture, free software and digital sustainability
• Increasing awareness of the global nature of human rights and the sharp impact of international trade and economic agreements
• Fostering an international spirit of respect and friendship among peoples, as the background for achieving the goals of the pirate movement
• Showing new perspectives for reaching a society with more freedom and democracy
