Dear Pirates, Pirates without Borders would like to invite you to the ordinary Pirate Assembly in Prague on Saturday 28th February. The venue is the Head Quarter of the Czech Pirate Party. What was and what is to come

Since its the beginning of a new year (for which, of course, we wish you only the best), we, the Pirates Without Borders Board, also thought it fit to think a little bit about last year as well as the coming one. What was 2014? For us, the board, 2014 was the first year of our two-year term. Elected in March, we did not merely take over leading positions, but a complete relaunch of the organisation. Blog-Relay-Stick: I vote Pirate!

Well, since sticks have been coming in from all kinds of directions (I thank @Drachenrose, @ws_develop, @frau_semm and @jinx_hh, if i remember correctly), this seems to be one of those rare occasions in which I have to blog. [UPDATE] Registration deadline set to 27th October 2014. Pirates without Borders would like to warmly invite you to the International Orgaweekend. It is an event dedicated to all the people who are heavily engaged in and comitted to providing us, the international Pirate Parties, with a smooth and flexible Infrastructure. Following the spirit of Pirates Without Borders, the International Orgaweekend is supposed to make networking and creative exchange across borders possible. Board meeting of the PWB board on June 23rd.

All members of the board were present; the board thus had a quorum. Data as given by the treasurer showed that PWB currently have 214,00 € cash and 1803,66€ on the account. The number of members is 112. President Sebastian Schwarzweller reported that he is still looking for a location for an International Orga Day, which turned out harder than expected due to high demands the PWB have on the location. The board discussed which requirements are obligatory, and Moira offered her help in the search. The board had a quorum to make decisions, with President Sebastian Schwarzweller and Treasurer Pat Mächler present. Administration Moira Brülisauer was excused. The PWB currently have 214.-€ cash and 1’357.16€ on their account, and about 110-120 members. Current work of the President is the organization of an International Orga Day, which is likely to take place in July – precise dates will be published as organization continues. Pirates without Borders May Board Meeting

Present on the board meeting on May 4th were Moira Brülisauer and Pat Mächler, with Sebastian Schwarzweller missing – the board still had a quorum. The PWB had gained two new members. Some IT problems had been noticed by the board and were commissioned to Wolfgang, who solved them immediately. The PWB mail address was tested and can now be used. The Postfinance bank account will soon be ready; Sebastian has signed the documents on the Easter holidays and Pat is going to send them back to the bank on Monday. Moira is responsible for moving data from the Wiki to Redmine, which is mostly done, but the Wiki will …

April Boardmeeting

All board members were present. The commissioned IT person, Wolfgang Steinert, has received the server and is working with it. A Redmine server for PWB is planned, but not yet available.The old Wiki pages of the PWB have been saved as pdf files, Pat Mächler responsible. At the moment, the wiki pages are readable only and are to be deleted at some point, which the board confirms. Blogs will be saved on a database, for which Pat Mächler is responsible, as soon as he receives his account though Wolfgang Steinert.
